Puppy Vaccinations
Puppies require a specific set of vaccinations to help in the prevention of sickness. These vaccinations include a vaccine series for:
  • Rabies - Rabies is a viral disease transmitted through the saliva of an infected animal which affects the central nervous system. There is no cure for rabies and all dogs must be vaccinated for rabies by law.
  • DHPP - DHPP is a combination vaccine which helps protect your dog against four different diseases: Distemper, Hepatitis, Parainfluenza, and Parvovirus. Distemper shows in the ways of flu-like symptoms which results in severe neurological problems. Parvovirus is also airborne and can be transmitted through cough, sneezing, and even stool.
  • Bordetella - Bordatella, otherwise know as Kennel Cough, is a highly contagious respiratory disease which causes inflammation of the bronchi and trachea. It is spread by close contact with other dogs most commonly at grooming salons, dog parks, and boarding facilities. After the administration of the vaccine, it is recommended to wait 48 hours before taking them around other pets to allow your dog's body to develop the necessary anti-bodies to fight the disease.
  • Lepto - Leptospirosis is a bacterial infectious disease that causes serious damage to the kidney and liver. The bacteria can spread through urine contaminated soil, water, bedding, and food.

Vaccines are given over the course of several months and our veterinary staff works with you and your schedule to make sure all your puppy receives the necessary vaccinations.
Vaccines For Adult Dogs
Once the initial set of puppy vaccines are given, your dog will require booster shots to help maintain good health. These include the rabies vaccines which is given every 3 years.

Kitten Vaccines
New kittens require a specific set of vaccinations to help in the prevention of sickness. These vaccinations include a series for:
  • Rabies - Rabies is a viral disease transmitted through the saliva of an infected animal which affects the central nervous system. There is no cure for rabies and all cats must be vaccinated for rabies by law.
  • FVRCP (Feline Distemper) - Feline Distemper is caused by a highly contagious virus that affects a feline's intestines, bone marrow, and lymph nodes. In kittens, it can also damage the brain and the eyes. Parvovirus, the bacteria that causes Feline Distemper, is found throughout all environments, so it is important to vaccinate all cats, including indoor cats, as early as 6-8 weeks.
  • Feline Leukemia - Feline leukemia is a disease caused by a virus that affects only cats. It is transmitted through nasal secretions and saliva and attacks the immune system and can cause blood disorders. Any new cat or kitten should be vaccinated before entering the home.
The series of  vaccines are given over the course of several months.  Our veterinary staff will work with you and your schedule to make sure all of your kittens shots are given on time.
Vaccines For Adult Cats

Once the initial set of kitten vaccines are given, your cat will require booster shots to help maintain good health. These include rabies, distemper and leukemia which are given yearly.

They took great care of my dog, Stevie, when she had her dental cleaning! They let me come in a few days prior and talk over any concerns I had at no extra cost. The cost of the cleaning and extractions were also very reasonable! Thank y’all for taking care of my baby!

I cannot say enough about how much I love this clinic and the staff! They took us in when our precious puppy was 9 weeks old and became an extension of our family for the next 12 years. We had to say goodbye to our precious lab yesterday and the love and compassion that they gave us is an extension of who they are. Love these guys.
