The Importance Of Yearly Wellness Exams For Adult Dogs And Cats
At our veterinary clinic here in Cypress, Tx, we encourage all of our clients to bring in their pets at least once a year for their annual check up. Because dogs and cats age so much more quickly than people do, it's crucial that they make it in to the pet clinic every year to get a comprehensive exam as well as blood work, any necessary vaccinations, and also to refill their parasite prevention medication.
During the pet exam, our veterinarians will check your pet from head to tail including their eyes, ears, mouth, heart/lung sound, skin/coat, etc. We'll discuss any concerns that our clients may have as well as go over any issues that may appear during the pet examination. Some illnesses or medical concerns can be detected during a comprehensive pet check up, but more serious conditions may go undetected without proper testing and diagnostic treatment. Our Wellness Packages includes a comprehensive pet exam, blood work, heartworm test (canine), fecal exam, and urinalysis at a discounted rate for our patients. |

Senior Canine Wellness Packages | Senior Feline Wellness Packages
Dogs are considered senior pets by the age of 7, and cats are considered senior pets by the age of 9. For this reason, our pet clinic offers additional testing as part of our wellness packages to monitor your dog or cat's health throughout their senior years. It's important to take your senior canine or feline friend yearly as early detection of illness and disease is crucial to maintain their good health. Coupled with what you detect at home, your veterinarian can recommend dietary changes or other services to help your pet live their best golden years.
