That's awesome that dogs are less likely to wander. We bought a dog last month that keeps running away. We'll have to look into neutering.

I didn’t realize that neutering my dog will prevent testicular cancer if it’s done before he is 6 years old. I actually just got a new dog who is about 4 months old, so I guess I better act fast in getting it done so that we’ll never have to worry about cancer. I really am so glad you posted these helpful tips, though, because I am now convinced that I need to get my dog neutered, and fast. You also eased my concerns about the details of it.

We just got a young puppy from a litter my sister had. I did not realize how much I would care and love a little dog, so I want to do what is best for her now and forever. I thought it was interesting when you said that spaying will help prevent uterine infections and breast tumors that are fatal in half of the dogs. We will call a qualified veterinarian specialist sometime this week.

My cousin just adopted a small cat and she wants to make sure that she is safe to keep as a pet. He has been thinking about getting her spayed because he doesn't want her to have any kittens. I'll be sure to tell him about how she won't go into heat, urinate, or yowl much of the time.

It got me when you said that a male pet will not roam away from home anymore when it gets neutered. I guess I should find a veterinary hospital to finally get this done for my dog now that it is already one year old. There have been two incidents that it got out of the property no matter how we secure the place, and I worry that it might get lost and not come back anymore if it continue to escape to find a mate.
